Hon Dr. Becky Ndjoze-Ojo

Dr. Becky Ndjoze-Ojo was born on 18 March 1956 in Windhoek. She is one of the great Namibian scholars. During the late 1970s and early 1980s she was a school teacher in Namibia. From 1986-1996 Dr. Ndjoze-Ojo was a lecture at Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria, before moving to the University of Namibia in 1996. In 2005 she was appointed Deputy Minister of Education in 2005.

Dr. Becky Ndjoze-Ojo’s impressive educational qualifications includes a B Ed and B Ed (Hons) from the University of Ulster in the United Kingdom (1980-1984); MA in applied Linguistics, University of Durham, UK; PhD (English), Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria; a MA in Public Policy and Administration, Nederland and a Diploma in Distance Education from the University of London.
