Namibia breweries
Namibia Breweries Ltd was established in 1920 and is one of the most modern breweries in Africa and the only commercial brewery on the continent that brews in strict accordance with the Reinheitsgebot, the German purity law that prohibits the use of any ingredients other than malted barley, hops and water.

The premium quality of the natural Namibian beer is attested to by the fact that Windhoek Lager, Windhoek Draught and Tafel Lager all won Gold Medals at the 2008 International Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft Awards in Berlin.
We have travelled most of Southern Africa and when you mention that you are from Namibia, one of the first questions ussually are: "Dont you have Windhoek Lager in your car?"
Followed by another question whether you know Frankie fredricks!

It crossed my mind to paste a photo of Frankie Fredricks and a bottle of Windhoek Lager in my pasport! But because of two reasons, I never did. Firstly, I do not want to think of the customs officers reactions and lastly, I dont know what Mr. Frank Fredrieks will think of the green bottle next to his photo!
