Dordabis

In the Dordabis district is Arnhem Cave, the longest cave system in Namibia with a total passage length of 4 501 m.

To the east of Windhoek lies the Omaheke Region with its majestic camel thorn savannas and deep Kalahari sands.

It is home to the San people and rock engravings at several sites provide evidence that Stone Age hunter-gatherers once roamed across the landscape.

Omaheke, a Herero name meaning “Sandveld” is the country’s beef producing and game ranching region.
